Onward is a movie set on the fantasy world that once was filled with magic and magical creature. The world has unicorn, dragons, elf, Centaur, pixie and many more. But the world has now lost the memories of magic that once the world had. The world filled with adventures, quest and has turn into a modern society of science and mechanics. Ian Lightfoot (voiced by Tom Holland) is a teenager who just turned 16. He lost his dad when he was a child and has none of the memory. He is one a subtle person who is scared of everything and has deliema all the times. Where as his brother Barley Lightfoot (voiced by Chris Pratt.) is fearless, kind of idiotic, knows all about magic books and is always talking about the history of the world where the magic was is peek of every heart. On the 16th birthday of Ian his mom Laurel Lightfoot (voices by Julia Louis-Dreyfus) gives both of the kids the gift that his dad has left for them. And after few moments they realize that they could bring back their dad for a day till sunset. But in accident Ian brings back his dad using the staff and breaks the phoenix gem halfway and it only brings back his legs, half of his body is still remained to revive. So Ian and Barley two elves goes to the adventure for finding another phoenix gem and completing the revival so that Ian who never met could meet his dad again. In doing so they see the adventure that magic once had over the world and it's amazing mystics. This movie is also a great family movie. Anyone who likes family movie would surely love this movie and is gonna put a smile over your face when it ends.
